FEES and INSURANCE

INSURANCE

Out Of Network: 

Health insurance plans differ in their coverage for therapy.  Plans including benefits for Out-of-Network Providers (OON) may reimburse for services once a deductible is met.  As an Out-Of-Network (OON) provider, I will provide you with a ‘superbill’ which includes everything you need to submit to your insurance company for partial or full reimbursement, depending upon your plan.  

I encourage clients to call their insurance company and ask for an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) to understand the specific details regarding their insurance coverage for psychotherapy.

FEES

$185 per hour 

Credit cards and Health Savings Account (HSA) cards are the preferred form of payment.   

Payments are accepted before each session begins.  Credit Cards are required to be kept on file and are used for payments.  Your credit card may also be charged when an appointment is cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled time (see below for more information).  

A sliding scale is available.

CANCELLATION FEES  

If you have an appointment and need to cancel, please cancel as soon as possible so that I have an opportunity to fill the appointment. If the cancellation is within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time, the system I use for billing will charge a $75 fee to your credit card on file.  This fee is not covered by any insurance plan and is non-refundable.
